Lab 5: Picture 4

With this picture, I tried to use the rule of thirds but the subject is still near the centre. However, I still like the way it turned out!

Lab 5: Picture 3

With this picture, I also tried to use the golden ratio. I like how everything is in focus.

Lab 5: Picture 2

With this picture, I tried to use the golden ratio to create this picture. This subject is in the foreground while the bike racks are in the background. I think this picture turned out really well.

Lab 5: Picture 1

With this image, I tried to use the rule of thirds to create it. I like how the image turned out because of all the lines and shapes. There is a lot of things in the picture which gives it a confused look.

Submission 5

With this image, I wanted to create a message on how society as a whole is ruining the planet. I like how this image can be seen as just a can on a road or something very deep and meaningful.

Submission 4

With this image here, I wanted to make another simple but effective image of a tree. I like the way that the two main colours co-operate in this image.

Submission 3

With this image, I wanted to create a mysterious vibe with it. It show how nature affects things we create as you can see how the sign is wearing down. I think there is a contrast between the negative word caution (the bold font adds to this effect) and the bright and positive feeling of nature however the colour of the background might make you think otherwise.

Submission 2

With this image, I really like how simple is it again which not much happening to it. The subject is in focus and creates a cozy feel to the picture. It could also be interrupted as something like your memories being trapped in a ball.

Submission 1

I choose this image because I really like how simple and minimalistic the image is. The subject isn't really in focus which I think adds a little bit of movement in a shot where there's no movement. I also like how this could be taken anywhere in the world. The colour palate is a dull one which can either make the image negative or positive, which ever way you interrupt it.
